Does anyone know the quietest pipe for the performence for a 250ex. I already have a K&n filter and I will rejet for the pipe. I'm only looking for a slip on though.

Not sure yet about the quietest. I am getting a wb e-series slip on for my 250 and if you have less discs thats the less loud it will be

Here this is from my last post

less discs = quieter, more = louder

the fmf Q is pretty quite and its a slip on itll probly shed a pound or 2 of wieght off your 250 too ;)

the fmf q is really quite but it wont give u as much of a performance gain as a less restrictive louder pipe... the wb e- seires is adjustable like they said but.. the more disks=louder but more top end power less disks=quiter but more low end power

i think this is correct but if im wrong someone correct me ...

does anyone know how quiet a fmf megamax is? I heard that pipe doesnt give you as much power but it's really cheap. I can't go over 96 db's.

And how about a pro curcuit t-4?

Quiet and performance do not go together well !

i think a t-4 will be over your db limit but if you like procircuit they also make a spark arrested one that is suposed to be quiet the, the mega max is alot like the e-series but just not really good quality did you look at the power core 4 yet, im pretty sure they stay under 96 db

I don't think they make the power core 4 for the 250, it doesn't show it on there site.

what about a pipe that you can get a quit core on... it fits in the pipe like a spark arrestor and comes out whenever you want really easily. so when you want a little more performace and the noise doesant matter you could just take it off. or when you need it quit just slip in the core...

How about a pro-circuit T-96. Its only 96 db like you want and makes good power gains.

Do you mean the 496?

If you do, they don't make it for the 250.:(

I think I decided on the fmf Q.

My t-4 for my 400ex is only 95 decibals. And it makes it soud good. It sounds deep. I have just the slip-on for mine with the kandn and a dynojet kit. Steve

if you can, get the ti q it makes a lilttle more power and its a little lighter than the regular q
