ok well i would have had my bike back together tonight but a cylinder stud bolt decided to snap. i got lucky and it was defective so i didnt strip anything and it just backed right out. no i have to buy a new bolt from honda wich is no doubt to be horibly overpriced and i need to know if i have to replace the bottom cylinder gasket, is it still usable since not all of the head bolts were torqued all the way down?

since it hasnt been ran, id say go 4 it but you can always replace it if you dont feel comfortable reusing it.

man that sucks :eek2: but yeah id reuse the gasket if you didnt tighten the studs down all the way, also did you tighten each one all at once or in a caddycorner sp? fashion a little bit at a time like you should :ermm:

i tightend them in a crisscross pattern. 3 of the bolts were tightend down to 33ft lb already though.
looks like im gonna have to take out a loan just to get that bolt and gasket from honda. my last gasket was $36:eek2:
