That company will make the other pipes look better on paper because they make more money selling that product!!

Rossier is the best pipe out for the 450r. JMO

What pipe has the deepest sound out of all of them. Also, none of the pipes have been decibal tested as far as I can see. Has anyone seen a sound test?

i hope you mean sparks? rossier isn't making anything sound good on paper. this dyno shootout was by an individual who isnt related to any of these companies. i paid $389 for a full rossier exhaust. that is stainless steel too. try to find a new sparks for that cheap. sparks is the one who raises the prices and everyone buys them because of the name. that does not say they are the best on this bike though.

Rossier themselves have a special on them right now.Rossier has a nice sound to it and is a lot quieter than a sparks plus makes nice power everywhere.:D

Sparks is the best pipe for the 450R . I have sold a ton of them and not one person has come back and said they think they should have bought a different pipe !

I have taken other pipes off and put a Sparks pipe on a few different customers quads and they all thank me for showing them the light !!

Rossier is a better pipe than the Sparks. CS is just not what it used to be. The reason there are so many fans is because some just assume that they couldn't possibly get worse .. they are just too high caliber of a company. Their pipe is an inferior design .. not even a stepped header. Probably to save money .. and then still sell them for as much as the top of the line systems go for. They don't even get their cams grinded special for them .. they just resell 02 CRFs .. and everyone jumps for them even though they are MORE THAN DOUBLE the price.

well i have a sparks now and i will be putting the rossier on shortly. i am still unsure if i am going to install it now or send it off to www.swaintech to get coated first. i think i am going to get it coated first. :)

What is funny is all of the BS over a 4 stroke pipe .. These aren't like two strokes and every pipe out there will test with hardly any difference over the next.. :eek2:

I think a stocker with a good muffler will work just as well !

Although I do like the Sparks the best for a aftermarket pipe.

Honda350r, its best if you don't post because you are making yourself look like an *****. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. A stock pipe will get you no where close to an aftermarket pipe, and the design of the header pipe makes a huge difference. I sold my sparks for a Rossier. I have the shorty on my TT bike and the long can on my MX bike. IT is far superior throughout the entire rev range. Put a Cam and dirt bike electrics on it, and hold on for dear life.

Got nads?

I too can atest that the bend and size of the headpipe can make a difference. I sold the Yoshi and bought a rossier and the difference in mid and responsiveness was well worth it. Ifl you have only had one pipe on your machine you can't really say it is the best if you have nothing to compare to can you?

ive road the hmf, yoshi, and sparks, i liked the sparks best out of the 3, the yoshi and hmf were close, i have never road the rossier

the pipes barely make any difference on a stock bore. your best bet is to look for quality in the pipe rather then performance.

The Sparks is the best- Wrong

The Rossier is the best- Wrong

The DASA pipe is the BEST pipe you can buy for a 450R.

But out of the top 2 the Sparks BC is the better pipe. The Rossier is lazy on bottom.

Pipes dont help stock bore? Hmm. Thats the funniest thing Ive ever heard.

yeah i need to edit these posts as well since they are so old. the rossier is very weak on the bottom end. the sparks is much stronger down there. once you get them going they seem similar. overall i preferred my sparks pipe over my rossier. i actually sold the rossier. i actually like my hmf more than my sparks or rossier. it runs very similar to my sparks all they way through. the low end on the HMF is probably a little better and that is why i kept it. i think dasa is the next pipe i will buy. i do have a ron woods pipe here now though....

WOW! this thred is out of control. i think that both pipes are sweet as hell but i also think that jetting has a lot to do with the performance of any pipe too.

DASA , then Rossier

most of you are probably talking about to different pipe

standard core and big core

theres a dyno on here where the sparks big core is right there with the dasa

the test on wpp site is not the big core

ive had alot of pipes

ESR
YOSHI/TRS/&/TRC
HMF
DMC 4 A DAY:confused: :( :(
ROSSIER
DR.D
LRD

and the hmf felt the strongest

Rossier will test at 99 DB all day long with good packing. Sparks will be the same with the little insert. Both are quality products. What is the DB on the DASA?
