Well about 5 months ago, My Keeshound passed away. We had to put her to sleep. It was one of the hardest things I had to do.

My mom swore she would never have another dog in this house. Main reason is because we get so attached to them.

Well about 4 weeks ago, My sister bought a black pug. Named him Snort. Hes a really cool dog. She came over here twice with the dog, and we couldn't get enough of him. Heres a few pictures of Snorty.

(Hes 7 weeks old in these pictures)

So after playing with Snort for awhile, we decided to look into getting another dog.

We took a ride to see some baby golden retrievers (5 weeks old), And had to get one.

The puppy is still to young to be away from her mother, so where gonna wait about 2 weeks before we pick up the dog. But we did put a $300 down payment to hold the dog for us.

Heres some pictures of my future puppy :)

Last one for now. I can't wait to bring her home. Im thinking of naming her Shelby, but we still havn't decided on a name yet.

Any ideas for names?

Haha we have a black pug too! He's so annoying. Snort is the perfect name for that dog because that's all they do! Ours name is buddah, and We've had him for 15 years now. He's fallen off the top of our house, been ran over by a car and a tractor, stepped on by a horse, attacked by bird, tripped over and so on and he's still here. He's blind and can't hear anymore but I tell you what, those dogs last forever!

Haha tell me about it! They are so funny though when they are young because their bodies are so small and they have these gigantic heads! You have to love them though :D

Wow, sounds like your pug has been through alot.

But, yeah, thats why my sister named him snort :p . He's always snortin and he has a huge head.

Heres a picture of my friends dogs. When my puppy gets a little older, he will be playing with these 2 probably everyday.

The one on the left is part pitbull, rotwiellorer(Sp?), German Shepard, and the other one is part Black lab and Border collie.

my friend has a black lab i swear to god it eats anything. eats candle wax, cans, bottles, a puddle of grease that drips off the grill, my friend took a dump on a plate and the dog really ate it. the only thing it wont eat is like them decoration grapes, we can throw them across the room and it will catch it in its mouth and drop it. i swear this dog should be on fear factor. i remember walkin in his yard and seein candle wax in every clump of crap on his lawn lol

Best of luck with your new pup, mom has decided for us to get cats, noone gets attached to those lil evil things anyway!:grr:

Your dog looks awesome, but is he blind? The way his eyes are makes him look like hes blind as a bat.

Your pug is sooo cute but not a cute as the Golden!!! I have a golden named Kato. He is 11 years old now and getting a bit slow in his old age. He just lost his hearing but still is the best of best dogs. Our children are able to anything with him and he just lets them. I think a gold name would be Goldie since the Golden Retreivers are the Golden of all dogs. Good luck with the pups.

Hes still really young. Hes actually the runt of the litter. But all the puppies looked like that. We still have to wait about a week before we can bring him home because hes so young.

We have a golden too. I wasnt to happy about it, it was a gift from my MIL to my daughter. She is a hairy beast for sure, but she really is a great dog. I was looking to get another lab, and lost the battle, four to one. But now that Autumn is nearly four, I wouldnt trade her for nothing.

golden retrievers are great dogs, i have had one for almost 11 years, shes pretty old and slow now, but still a sweet dog. When she was younger, I used to train her and my black mutt for agility. Here is a pic of them about 7 years ago.
