I'm getting some money this week, and want to get something for my 250ex. I want something for performence. I already have a k@n filter and power lid. I was thinking about a rev limiter, but it sounds like they don't do too much. Any suggestions would be helpful:)

I don't have much experience with the 250EX, so I've never actually tried an aftermarket rev limiter on one. However, as a shaft-drive, I would imagine a rev limiter to be one of the few upgrades that would actually improve top-end speed.

Tires would help it too. I would invest in a slip on exhaust. Should help the power. Or you could get tires if yours are worn.

I'm not mainly looking for top speed, and I can only spend $150 so even a slip on pipe won't be possible. Any more suggestions?

save up for a pipe if you have to you wont notice to much of a differnce with th rev limiter untill you do some other mods first

I would agree. Honestly, a filter and pipe should be your first upgrades, and you already have the filter.
