On top of my motor i have a rubber vent line. It T's off and one end goes to the front of the motor and the other to the back. Do these conect to anything and is it normal to have air commin out of the end while trying to start the motor. Does it work similar to a pcv valve on a car?
didnt you alredy post this ?

They dont go anywhere.. they just end midair.
And, yea it just lets air expand and contract as the piston moves up and down. Since it's only a single cylinder theres nowhere for that air below the piston to displace. 2 cylinder/4 cylinder engines can displace into the cylinders of the opposite piston on it's upstroke. So, the single cylinders need somewhere for that air to go in and out, that's where the breather tube comes into play.
