stock ignition on a 450????

if you have a built Z400 engine... 450, cams, rod, everything done to it... can you run a stock ignition... i just got a call to race someones bike this weekend.. and all they need is an ignition... and i'm going to jack the ignition off my 450 and put a stock one on it for my brother to race if we can get it running right....

never mind.... that bike i'm going to race has to have a yoshie ignition in it and i have a dyna fs... i dont know why it would need a yoshie??? beets me?

Maybe the engine has to be timed to a certain degree. My only guess.

i got a yoshie box but it looks the exact same as the stock one???
