02 300 ex timing procedures

can anyone help us we had to replace the left crank housing on a 2002 300 ex and now it will only run with the choke on. I believe it is timing but am not sure . Any ideas or can you help by telling me how to do magneto timing on it?:confused:

You only have to line up the T mark on the flywheel, and then line up the marks on the cam and the housing. I bet it is only 1 tooth off if it ran fine before.
