That is right, Round Five was at the K-Bar-M Ranch. No big Pro riders were there, just our regular great riders!!!
Rider turn-out was low (guess everyone else was scared when they heard the track was going to be 10 miles).
But everyone that came off the track (even the hurt riders!) loved the track!!!

At the end of the first lap it took 27 minutes for Santo DeRisi to make the 10 mile track complete.

Second place, Jason LaRusso, is nearly forty seconds back.

Bonnie Cook
06-23-2005, 08:38 PM

Going from first place to sixth place on lap one was Bryan Cook. Cook was following the track and took a motorcycle line and ended up wedged between two trees. After watching all the Pro riders and a few A riders pass by, Cook was finally out of the trees and playing catch-up.

Bonnie Cook

In the A Class, Shon Franklin was holding onto the lead.

Bonnie Cook
06-23-2005, 08:43 PM

Bonnie Cook
06-23-2005, 08:46 PM
Corey Mitchell was chasing him down though.

Bonnie Cook
06-23-2005, 08:47 PM
After lap one was down, no one had seen Mike Houston through the scoring tent. The Mid East crew was putting in a search when Houston pulled up at the creek jump looking forlorn.

Bonnie Cook

Mike's wife, Crystal, was there for support as he explains what was wrong. The chain was jamming up the case saver, causing the chain to pop off. Trouble for Houston as he easily putted back to the pits.
