adding lights

i have a 05 450r and if you add lights getting power from the rear brake light would that burn out something. i'm just adding two neons so i dont think it would be that much. can many one help

I'm not sure if it would burn anything out, but I would suggest going off the battery to a switch. In my past experiences with my car and wiring its better not to just keep tapping into existing wires.

You would need to make sure you have enough buffer to run the extra wattage.

What wattage are these neon lights?

but if the staqtor does not put out enough amperage for all of your current accessories and the additional draw of the neons, then you will have some probs. other than that, you should be fine
