Razor Tires worth it?

i am woundering if spending alll this money on tires is worth it? i will be getting razor 2's all around
suggestions and comments welcome!!

Fronts are good rears are really bad!

How can you say the rears are really bad? If I recall correctly I remember alot of GNCC races won on back razr2's when they came out before the I razr??? Explain

The Razor 2 rear tires slide out way to easy when cornering. Forward traction is good but side is really bad.
I've seen all the name brands of tires when GNCC's, whats your point?

I just wanted to hear why you didn't like the razr2's. I personally run regular razr's in the back and razr2's up front, but I wouldnt hesitate to run the razr 2's all the way around in the sloppy season.

If the knobs have something to stick into then its not as bad but if the ground is hard pack, the rear end tries to pass the front.

I have the opposite affect with mine they are all over the place when its muddy and soft but it I have hard pack they hook up pretty good! I am switching to kendas in the rear for mx since I am giving up xc racing:D

The reason I always liked razr2's is because I did so well with them at monterey in the winter 03-04 season. Super muddy race. I came to 13th overall from the b class after getting a dead last start and bangin my head on the log that was head high across the trail. I believe you won the pro class that race.

Ya, that race was a blast even tho the entire pro class got stuck on a hill on the first lap and all the A and B riders got by us.
