300ex main jet location

Can anyone tell me the location of the main jet on a 300EX carb.

On the bottem of it.

its in the same place as any carbs main jet

if all carbs main jet is in the same place then where is that, I am new to this stuff.

take the carb off and turn it upside down then take off the 4 or so screws holding the botton of it on if it doesnt come of easily after that get something to carefully pry the 2 peices apart then the main should be the biggest copper shiny thingy you see you can take it out with a flat head screwdriver ;)

Noo!! lol, don't have to go that far.

Just unscrew the large plug on the bottom of the float bowl. It gives you direct access to the Main Jet.

Removing the Bowl allows you to screw up the float level.

The plug is the very bottom part of the pictoral. Just use a socket and take it off loke a normal bolt. Counter-Clockwise out / clockwise in.

Not your carb.. but they are all the same in this respect.
