To be honest with you, i don't like my K&N, i would go with a UNI if i had to do it again, or maybe a Twin Air.

Here is a questions for ya, I have my first race this Sat. and I was going to switch to a twin air since I have one and have not ran it yet. I thaught I heard that a foam filter is better for dusty conditions. Well the first race, there are 3, is ussally very muddy, then by the 2nd and 3rd it is very dusty, What should I run for this race?

Fi the K&N is clean and been oiled really good and the outerwears oiled, then you can run it for the day..
