2 things,

1 where is the rev box on the 250ex?

2 does it matter the brand? I found a big gun and a bullet revs one.

Thanks for the info, and yes I know why mod a 250ex? In due time I will upgrade to a 400ex, but for now I would like to make my 250 as fun as possible.

its not really worth it. Unless, you get a top end cam or bore it out. Its only gonna rev so high but a cam would let it rev. Im not saying it wont help but you wouldnt get as much out of it as u would if u got a cam

It's under the front left fender.

Alright thanks, I saw that black box under the left front fender. Right now I'm having some issues with my suspension kit so the rev box will have to wait.

by any wild chance was that the suspension kit that widens your a-arms by 2 inches, that a guy off ebay sells

I saw that kit on ebay and thought about placing a bid on it. It looked like it could give problems

http://www.webcamshafts.com/ Look in the 250ex part, it's a hardweld cam. I not exactly sure what is different about it to tell you the truth, but I have heard from several people that if you replace the cam on a 250, you should also replace the rocker arms because it puts a lot more stress on them.
