Any idea what this noise is

I hate to say it but i think the good ol Recon is dyin slowly..... i got goin down a field the other day and it started smokin a lil bit and makin a real bad whining noise out of the motor..... it sounds like a turbo in a f250....... anyways ive rode her hard and thats all i can say.... she wus a good 4 wheeler

oh by the way how much is a transmission for a Recon do you know.... its a ES......... thats another thing thats goin dead:(

maybe a new 1 will come out of all this:ermm:
