Roll Call--Leon Iowa (I know its still over 2 weeks away but..)

I am as excited or more than I have been al year! Each class is shaping up to be real competative, and since I am right in the thick of things in my class, I cant wait to start talking about the next race! All you Missery guys who have toyed with the idea of trying an Iowa race, this is the best chance. The last 2 races after this will be way far away from you so you better get on up here!;)

We will be there, got the ok from the Dr. today for Tyler to race. He is excited and ready to race since he missed the last 2 races:D

We'll all be there. Looking forward to a good kids race. Hoping to have Taylor's Honda back together for this one. Tyler glad to know you'll be back. Still wondering about Logan, it's really close to when his Doctor said he could start racing again.

How about Clint and Andrea?? Any baby yet???

Maybe some of those GNCCers will show up since they will be on a 2 month summer break and give Mike and Duane some more competition.


For any of you needing some seat time don't forget about the Racers for Research race at Park Hills Missouri this Saturday. Collect donations to cover your entry fee. It will be a drive for most of us, we're looking at 7 hours but well worth the extra drive time. Lots of sand and woods at this one. This race is for a very good cause and all proceeds go to the March of Dimes. The really try and make this a fun race. May even catch someone doing the YMCA dance:confused: :D

5 minutes into the flat river grand prix race yesterday i clipped a tree and went over the bars~ i heard a crunch and knew i had broke something ~ finished the longest lap of my friggin life~lol~

got home went to hospital and they said bottom part of my thumb is broke in 2 places and i have to go in monday to see hand specialist and schedule surgery

Oh Kim that is a bummer. Keep your chin up, it could of been worse and that thumb can heal. One year Michael broke his wrist playing softball and he still raced then last yr he had surgery on his knee was suppose to not race the rest of the year but he did with his leg wrapped and his leg straight out in his brace so I am not giving up on you. You are just as determined as he is. Strong minded too. lol........take care of yourself and listen to the dr. Ha. mommab and the gilman gang...........:)

Nope you cant unless you get a smaller quad and race the junior class.

Getting things packed up to hit the road this afternoon. Got Tay's quad put back together and it won't start so taking it to the DirtShack to see if the problem can be fixed, so she can hit the track once again on her Honda. Camera is charged and ready for some great racing action. Woo Hoo!!!!!!

Hope you can get her quad runnin! Im sure its nothing major. I still hafta put coolant back in mine, change the oil, clean the air filter, clean and oil the chain, tighten everything up, and I wont be able to start on it all til about 5 tonite!!:rolleyes: oh well, nothing like waiting til last minute. What a race!! Two blown motors, power steering went out on Tahoe when we pulled in the drive to the race, and then threw the belt on the way home. Thanks to all who helped us out and for hauling the quad trailer back for us!!! Things gotta be better by Waukon:( :D But Chance brought home first place and was up on second by 2 laps. Woo Hoo!!!

Johnny that is why I love this sport so much is the people that are always there to lend a hand and help out no matter the cost.

Who blew motors?

My race went ok, I got off to a 5th on the holeshot,caught up to Rob Zimmerman in 1st half way thru the 1st lap passed him when he went over the bars and checked out for 3.5 laps but then my seat fell off on a hill climb I ran down got it and by then I was dead tired and he could start to see me.I I stopped for water on the 4th lap and he passed me back. So I got 2nd I was to tired from the heat to put a last lap fight up So I coasted and finished almost 3 minutes up on 3rd.

Dale Hazzard gets the title of Superman! He is very lucky he isnt hurt badly, that was a helluva wreck. Not sure what Colby got. It was hotter than heck and the track was tough. The inexperience in some of the morning riders showed on a cou[ple hill climbs that should have been no problem but caused alot of trouble for the rest of us. But all in all it was a great race.
Burrows got another win as Duane had mechanical trouble of some kind. Matt D. (ubeensmoked) got 3rd in B, GYII got 6th in old C and I got 9th old C--we both had battery troubles all race long, and both stalled on the last lap and had trouble gettin it going, took turns pasing each other while being passed by the 3rd 4th and 5th place guys, otherwise we wouldve had alot better of a day.:ermm:

Well yesterday wasn't my best performance of the year :( I think it was the turning 29 on Friday. Possible dehydration and lack of sleep all excuses aside I finished 8th had a good 1st lap but went down hill from there. Hope you are healing well heard you took the cast off don't you believe in healing

colby~ 8th in B class is an awesome finish!! that is a TOUGH class!!

the cast made me feel clostrophobic (sp?) doc wasnt happy but gave me a new cast i can take on and off~

i may have the cast off by waukon~ but if not ill be racing for sure~ those girls are going to have to fight me for the 1st place spot in 05!! ( all in fun of course)

Well i had a bout a mid pack start made my way to fifth because Johnny was yelling your in fifth your in fifth lol then i was abiout done with my third lap goin to pass a guy for 4th and went around him kinda under a low pine tree branch and ripped my tether off my quad so i ahd to stop and by the time i figured out what the He!! happend iwas in 19th place where i finshed but dad said we are gonna bore it out and get me some new suspension for the rest of the season and i should be sporting a new 450R by next year. All in all it was a good day i thoiught i did pretty good makin my way up to 5th goin on 4th ON A OLD Warrior LOL!!!!:D . I heard for sept. 18th we were back at Brooks can anyone conferm this thanks Broc Bromley #128

Johnny blew his motor during the fourth lap, the kicker is stuck and won't give and Taylor on her fresh rebuild had a bad start and got hooked up with Jake got going again and moved her way back to second and then it died and wouldn't start again. She was really moving out and had worked so hard to move back up in positions it really sucked for her. At least she's getting a better grip on her anger, last year she would have thrown her helmet and balled for an hour but this time she was just a little mopey but got over it just as fast. She knew she was riding hard and the motor problems weren't anything she could control. I'm really proud of her she's growing up!:D

The heat and dust sure took a toll on everybody. Dale is going to be alright. Just sore as hell, the old grey ghost didn't fare so well. Nothing that a new frame, axel, stem, bars, subframe, 2 wheels, and plastic won't fix.

I had a very enjoyable ride in the morning race (my first!) but had to leave right after the race. Anybody know how the stock class turned out for ol' #141 Dave? :confused:

Got the power steering pump fixed and new belt now the rear end is out of the Tahoe. :( More updates of bad luck tonight. LOL
