I have 8" rear ITP beadlocks with 18x10x8 holeshot mxr. My question is: if i purchase 9" beadlocks and run a 18x10x9 holeshot mxr will the bike be geared higher or will the wheel speed change?

The speed will remain the same. Changing the rim size will only make the ride different (bumpy or smooth).

i prefer a 9" wheel i like how the sidewall has less fleax and more solid cornering.

I run 18x10x9 maxxis razrs, the grip is great and the sidewalls have less flex in the coners than 9in holeshots. You get a marginally less harsh ride with 8in rims, but 9's are less likely to fold fron a hard landing as well, get either beadlocks or T9 baja rims they last and allow you to run less air, negating the easier ride of the 8's.:chinese:
