Gear Ratio 400Ex

could somebody please tell me the stock gear ratio numbers for the '99 400 Ex and any better gear ratios they might like to suggest. mine just doesn't feel right, so slow in gears 1,2,3,4, to get any good speed i have to rev it super high in 5th which ended up in a slipped timing chain and $500 worth of damage. it is jetted, filter, piped and has a hot cams camshaft.

what kind of riding are you doing that you want that much speed for 4th and 5th? most people change the front sprocket one tooth up in the front or 3 down in the rear for more top end. if you slipped the timing chain in 5th, who ever installed it must have messed it up cause they are pretty easy to mess with.
