2004 Rancher 350 ES 4X4 shifting problem

Lately my 2004 rancher has been having issues. On the dash the gear indicator will start to blink in intervals of 3 like......blink, blink, blink...............blink, blink, blink. This does not let my ATV shift. I used to be able to turn the ignition off and it will act normal but now I can turn the ignition off and the blinking will continue.

I am still able to manually shift with the lever, thoug.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Buy the kit that gets rid of the electric shifting. My friend has a 350 rancher es, had it for about a year and a half, he has had the electrics fixed i think 3 times on it.
