run honda oil while ur breaking it on...dont rev it really high and dont get wide open but dont let it lug ( bog down ) either, keep it around half rev...you kno wut im tryin to say ...jus get in a big field and ride back and fourth for about 30mins then give it a break and go bak for about 30mins and that outta be good

Ride it like you would normally. Just don't go full throttle for a long time and do not hit the rev limiter. Take TRX450R_Racer's advise. It will not void the warranty. Maybe I will see you at ST. Joe. I will be there on Sunday. Look for an R with a number plate 24.

Read that link, pay no attention to anything else. Run the hell out of it. I ran mine wide open in a field for half hour periods then changed the fluids, did that like three times. It wont void the warranty, they dont know what you did to break it in.

i use those techniques too, and i have to say when i disassembled my 530 it looked really sweet. I was really hard on break-in with banging the gears and dyno'ng too.

don't be afraid to be hard. baby'ing these engines is not what they are designed for..

you need to run the piss out of it in order to seat the rings properly. if you baby it then all the honing marks will be worn out of the cylinder before the rings are fully seated.
