screw out the top ride height adjustment, so the shock is free to move. At the other end there should be clamp that should fall out, now that you have the pressure of the spring off of it. After the clamp is out, just slide the springs off

if u take all the pressure off your springs by adjusting them all the way soft by moving the c-clip on the top of the shock to the top. Then the plate at the bottom of the shock is notched, u push it up about a half inch and then it will pull out and u can slide your springs off. Just make sure and keep your spacers in order.

It doesn't unscrew. You have to find a way to compress the springs. Once they're compressed, there's a little c-clip that you'll need to either take out, or move it all the way up(preferrably move it all the way up, so you don't damage the clip). Then, you can slide the springs up, and remove the lower retainer.

Also, I'm not sure that I'd recommend getting the springs PC'd. Not sure if it would work the same way, since quad springs don't support as much weight, but I know that if you heat up a coil spring for a car, it will make them sag. And it causes the springs to become softer, making them more prone to allowing the suspension to bottom out easier. But like I said, I could be wrong.

What I'd say to do, is talk to some of the suspension guys on here, and get a set of new Works springs that are already PC'd black. I know they have them, because that's what I had on my 300.

im not possitive but i think it only makes the springs softer if you heat them unevenly which shoudnt be a problem with pc but im not sure
