I am thinking about buying an extended steering stem and not sure what length to get. I’m 5’11 and have TAG CR high bend bars. This setup seems a little low while riding standing up. Can anyone let me know if +1 or +2 would be a good choice? Also I’m looking at a SRP stabilizer. Are they any good?

I got my srp stabalizer a week ago and i tried it out on a 45 minute race on indianas most brutal mx track. I was on stock suspension but the stabalizer was a big sucess. I couldnt believe i was riding without it. I ended up getting 1st and almost lapping the entire field. I love it and i got a full Holz setup coming this week.

that srp is awesome! highly recommend. just remember that the stock clamp may NOT fit an aftermarket steering stem. my buddie put on a Houser stem and the clamp was too big, so to fix it all he did was fill in the space with rubber, but that's kinda ghetto, so just make sure to get the right size clamp.

Most stems from a reputable manufacturer will perform about the same.

I am 5 11, and I am happy with a Walsh +1 stem with CR high bend bars.

I am 6'1" and run stock handle bars and have extended the stock stem 1 1/2". It is perfect!

I'm 6'1".... +1 stem, CR high bend

I kinda wish I went with the +2, but the +1 is still comfortable.
