How often should the transmission oil be changed and does honda make a good quality lubricant for the tranny side?

A lot of people use (and like) the Honda transmisson oil. It is in the red bottle. You should change the oil at least every other time you do your engine oil.

Honda says use Honda HP10w40 engine oil in the trans. The same as in the engine side. I say do what Honda says, because they know more than any of us.

I use Honda tranny oil i change it every other race and change my motor oil with Silkolene race synthetic every race

I just gone done changing the oil. I put the same oil in both sides and its running great. Thanks.
