do u have to lengthen or shorten a chain when u use a 14 and 36 tooth sprockets on a 300 ex???

im not sure but i think that you can just use the chain adjustment

I beleive 13/38 was stock.. been a long time.

I should be pretty close to a match on chain lenght. Just try to use the chain adjustment.. if you cant get it loose or tight enough.. then you need to swap or remove links.

I'm using 13/36 and 13/38. They both work with the standard # of chain links. 14/36 should fall right in the middle.. so I'd say your safe.
