2-stroke oil?? pelase help

Well as some of you know I just bought me a used blaster.It is running on ultimate 2 fuel.Well he told my step dad that the mixture oil was Golden Spectrum 927 2 stroke.Well I called the local dealership to see if they had any because they didnt have any at the 4 auto parts stores in my town,they said there was no such thing.They said Castrol made 927,I do not know what to do.The motor is highly modified,stroked.Would it be ok to run Castrol 927?,or just Golden Spectrum(not 927).Thanks Neil

Maxima is good stuff....also check out Klotz oil if you decide to change up what it was previously running

Ok,thanks...But,if it was ran with golden spectrum 927,would it hurt if I started using castrol 927?..The gas tank is COMPLETELY dry,ran til it dies out.I never realy rode it yet,andi cant wait anymore lol.anyhelp would be great,thanks..

i use the castrol maxima 927 and it shouldn't hurt it.

Ok,I talked to the guy that I bought the bike from,it was a mis-understanding.I will go get castrol 927.He said he would get 5 gallons of fuel,then put 16 ounces of oil,I tried to figure it out but not sure if i mright.That means I put 3.2 ounces of oil for every gallon right?

16 oucnes to 5 gallons is 40:1, I ran klotz techniplate I loved it, it smells like candy when you ride too :devil:

Castor oils to break in, synthetics after that. Like Amsoil or Redline.

Amsiol Dominator is a great oil. I ran it 50-1 in my blaster

Well I went to O'reilly auto parts(dont know if yall know where that is),and all they had was Lucas "high performance".So I got that for now,until I jet it for pump gas.How do yall find out the ratio?

BTW-before I bought it,it was sitting for 2 months collecting dust,he warned me whne I bought it that it will be slow at first.Well I bought it wednesday,and I started it up about 5 tiems since and rode it aroudn the yard a little,and its still slow,but its not as bad as whne I got it,and it doesnt idol.Is this normal???..Its realy aggervating me!! any help would be great,thanjs

well, if ur compression is over 180, u gotta run race gas. u should be able to change ur plug and it should run perfect.....

Ok,how do I figure out the compression?...sorry for all the questions,but im new to this.
