replacing swingarm pivot bolt berrings (250r)

I have a thread on this in the 250r section, but I figure I might get more responses here. For the life of me I can not figure out how to get the old pivot bolt needle berrings out. It is an 88/89 style swingarm.

It usually takes a hammer and a small chisel. You just have to cut through the outer race while not damaging the housing.

Is the race what holds the berrings together?

Its the outter ring that the bearings ride in, it looks like a little tube.
