i have a pro design tether on my quad and i was just wondering if these usually get water in them and short out; bc i think the original kill switch on my handlebars got water in it and was shorting out but i need a few second opinions

i dunno if its water but i know a lot of people have had problems with the prodesign. i, myself, have had them. mine was because corrosion*SP? when the metal makes contact and grounds it. took a knife scraped it off and it has worked fine since. but weird thing is it hadnt really been exposed to anything? so i dunno
