yah your's are better. batteries kept going dead and i would miss the good one's and i couldn't get them to focus.

It's not terribly difficult to photograph lightening. I've seen lightening flashes last for over a second. With good reaction times of a quater second or so, you can easily capture a good strike. The most important is your camera, some digital cameras don't actually open the shutter until about a half second after you press the button, because it is processing information. You need a camera that reacts instantly.

You actually want a SLOW shutter speed, to be able to capture the lower light levels.

I We saw a fantastic light show coming home one night and would have loved some pics of it .

Shift~~What settings did you use?? Ill have to give it a try sometime :)
