Plastic Question

I race a 2003 z-400 and the plastic is getting bad scratched up and discolored.... I would love to get new plastic but it seems everywere i look its would cost me around 400 dollars to get a new setup.... Am I just gonna have to man up and shell out that kinda money or is there somewere i can go to get some cheap or whats the deal?

get some fine sand paper steel whool and a heat gun after you sand it and buff it with the whool carefully hit with the heat
gun to melt the top of it then smother it in wd40 and itll look brand new
