To save room I would like to store the 400ex upright when not in use. I know to drain the gas some but do I have to drain the oil? If I don't drain the oil will the oil leak out of the transmission vent hose?

i would drian everything, and even when everythign is drained and you want to start it back up again i would let it sit in the regular position for a little bit.

has anyone every stored their 400ex upright and not drained the oil?
