crf450 onroad kit

I have been told that you can have an on-road kit installed on a crf 450 through the stater.

i have wanted a 450 for a while but also something i can take on the road. I want the performance to be offroad but be able to make it road legal.
Does anyone know if this is possible for sure.

i dont know about a kit, but i guess you would have to have turn signals and a tag, and probably a bunch of other small stuff

ufo and acerbis make rear fenders with intergrated<sp> turn signals and a front # plate with them also, you need dual sport tires also.you should buy complete wheels and put knobbies on them, then put dual/slicks and the stock ones so u can change quickly between road/mx

im thinking im just going to look for a crf450x but they are pretty new and probobly expensive even for a used one.

here in maine id probobly just run knobbys on the road. it isnt very strict...

call up your local DMV and they'll tell you what you need. But i do know it needs to be inspcted by a cop, you'll just need to get it registered, insured, tail lights, speedo, and head lights. Fairly simple
