frame strengths

is the square frame like on a 300ex tougher than a round tube frame so im pretty much asking if you had a piece of metal the same lengths one was square and one was round which would bend first and remember they are the same lenght thanks Jeremy

What do they build Roll-cages and stock car, drag car frames with... Round pipe has no weak edge or crease until one is created... Thats what they told us in the apprentice welding program. But Im a serviceman... So I could be wrong!!!! :devil: :D

round is stronger, but for some reason, sqare/ rectangle tube seems to be stronger w/ aluminum frames such as the c-dales and CR dirtbike frame, anyone care to explain?
