Sorry for double posting, but if sombody could answer this very quick, I will delete both, but I need an answer very fast b/c I am going up north, so I need to do this like today or tomarrow! thanks!!!!

Well its about time for my first oil change for my bike since I aquired it.

Its a Honda CR250...

What kind/brand of oil do I use?
How much?

2nd: Is there a site I can visit that will show me specifications for these types of things since I do not have a owners manual for the bike! Thanks

go to any local dealership and pick up any bottle of oil, they are all basically the same, like honda, yamaha, suzuki, kawasaki etc, all the same

32:1 is 20 ounces per 5 gallons and 40:1 is 16 ounces, either will work. I use to run Klotz techniplate and golden spectro :)

I use big twin tranny oil in all my stuff, Rev Tech high performance semi synthetic sae80W90

It should say somewhere on your case how much ML it takes.

Correct!

It was a very fast trade for an old car, unexpected more or less. I havent even got all the extra parts yet, but I am going up north and want an oil change before the trip. I know that I SHOULD know what kind and how much, but like he said, i JUST got it, so I wasnt sure! Thanks to all...

And your right, gotta learn somehow...

We have a Shop manual for the 400ex, but I havent bought one yet for the CR250, prolly will pick one up this week

Thanks again
