Is it true with the 87mm piston you use the stock size gaskets. When i ordered my piston I forgot to ask for gaskets. sparks charge more than for the stock xr head gasket.

Not sure if the stock 400ex gaskets will work with the 416, but I would think it would since the stock XR400 gaskets fit the 416 size.

Note: If you use the stock 400ex gaskets, I think you will have a lower compression ratio than if you use the XR400 gaskets. I would think Sparks should have supplied the gaskets to make your requested compression.
