ok i have a problem with my stock carb on my 400 i was racing and i hit a few water crossings and the throttle started sticking at about 1/4 throttle and wouldnt go any farther. its like its hitting on something down in the carb but i cant figure out what it is its done it on both carbs ive had its making me mad and its giving me arm pump its prolly water doing it but why is the water making it do this if its even water thats the culprit????? thanks

Take the whole carb apart and clean it. Also, look for gouges in the slide. I've seen small pieces of dirt lock them up.

Replace your throttle cable while your at it.

I replace mine every year whether it needs it or not.

its a brand new throttle cable its either in the slide chamber or on the side of the carb where all the springs are thanks for your input guys
