?'s about 450r shocks on a 400ex

i just bought some brand new 450r shocks for my 400 until i get the $$ to spend on elkas or something... i was wondering what, if any mods will i have to do to have the 450 shocks fit

pretty sure you just have to grind a little off the shock mounts til they fit, and the back one wll fit up no prob.

no grindind needed,they directly bolt on. (just did it to my buddies')

I dont know if there's a difference in 400ex frames, but on the '04 frame I had to do some grinding to make them fit on the front.

not sure bout that, this situation was 04 450 shocks to a 2000 ex.:)
