if i take the baffle on my 250ex will it help or hurt. i have heard it both ways

is a "baffle" a spark arestor??????????????
if so...i took mine of..added alot of power

k i am not sure. the end cap of the exhaust has the spark arrestor in it. but i wasnt sure how to go about pulling out the baffle and leave in the sp so help

It doesn't make a difffrence other than noise which will bug people so don't bother.

if you want to take the baffle out and not spark arrestor take the end cap off and get a chipping hammer and break the 3 little welds and it falls right out, just beware it makes alot more noise, and you can't put it back in so think long about it befor you go and break those welds

just try it. i did it with my 400ex. sounds awsome. im not sure about the power increase. But im positive it's gotta do something. You can always try it and then screw it back in. just give it a wirl. its not hard
