when standing on my stock handle bar'ed quad i feel way to big for it..........will new handle bars fix that or do i need perhaps a +1 or +2 steering stem.......maybe just a higher bend bar with a mount kit

Well how tall are you? Im 6'1'' and i felt to tall for my 400ex, then i bought some renthals and placed them where I thought i would be the best for my height. Now i feel a lot better.

I run Tag X-5 CR-lowbend bars with a Roll Design +1.5" stem. It felt great for the time being.

And I'm 6'3"

i am 6"2 or 3 and i bought the renthals quad racers and they are pushed up a bit more and i love them over stock,, but if you don't feel that it makes a diff, just get a a bigger steering stem or mounting kit thingyy.

The anti vibe mounts don't add any height. They are a set of tapered rubber bushings that the bar clamps mount to the steering stem with. I have a Roll Design +1 1/2" stem with CR low bend Pro Tapers. They are around the same height as the stock stem and bars. Most Pro Taper bars are low. Renthal makes a set of Fourtrax bars that are the same height as the stock ones. Put those on a +1 1/2" aftermarket stem, and that should be tall enough for a rider 6' or taller. Good luck!

so there is no other way to do it without purchasing a 380 dollar steering stem........i didn't wana have to spend near that much for steering.........

just buy TAG handelbars with the universal mounting kit with the CR high bend. my brother has them on his 250r and he loves it. the universal mounting kit adds an inch of heighth on a stock stem and with the CR high bend they're perfect for a tall rider.
