250r hood on 250x

can you put a mairer carbon fiber hood for a 250r and mount it to a 250x , without making any big modifications , or taking the headlight off

Heres a pic of my 250x with the 250r hood on it. It does take some trimming and bending of the hood to get it to fit good but it looks awesome IMO. As far as the headlight goes, I dont know but i would think you could get the hood on with the headlight still attached, but not 100% sure on that.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/4trax250x81/Picture019.jpg

did you connect the hood to the other plastic by them four bolts, could it be easy to mess up

Yeah the hood is connected by the four bolts, just take your time and cut a little off at a time, plan what you are going to do before you do it and you should be fine.
