300ex to a 450r???

do you think it is a big step from a 300ex to a 450r??
i have rode my friends z400 and handle it fine.
im just to big for my 300 now and i want power
im about 6 foot 2in tall

hey igot my 450r about 3 weeks ago and before that i had a 300ex. Its a huge step but its totally worth it. Its so much more powerful and faster. I rode my 300 last week and i couldnt belive how slow it felt. the 450r kicks ***!:devil: :D

I went from a 250ex to a 450r and it was a big difference, but you should be fine. I got used to it in about a week and then I just wanted to keep on upgrading and making it faster.

Heck yes! its a freakin major upgrade. and thats what makes it so great! i got rid of my 300ex cause i "partied too hard for the beast" as my friends said. Im 6'6" and the 300 is def not for the tall ones. Im pretty skinny but the suspension wasnt up to par for the jumping i enjoyed. Basically i sold it for $300 less than i owed.....because i was itching for a 450r. And if you were feeling a need for more power then go with the 450. Just take it easy till you get used to it.

i went from a 300ex to a 450r and man am i glad i did. im not used to the quad yet (my first race was today on it and i had some crack ups) but all i can say is this quad is awesome, i love it so much! i cannot wait til we start modifying suspension on it, and i feel that my 300ex bucked MORE than the 450r does. its a handful to get used to, but i think the quad is definatly worth gettin over the 400

Just take your time. you gotta crawl before you walk. You'll enjoy the bike, trust me you'll never understand why you rode a 300ex for so long!

i went from a basically stock 300ex to a 450r and raced mx
with the 450r the day i got it
it doesnt take long to get used to it either
im 6'4 so i know what you are coming from
