Since I have my eye on some new graphics, I was working with my red rear plastics, wetsanding them and all that good stuff, and all it left me with was a dull red.

Today i went ahead and went over the plastics with a blow torch and then put a coat of the "Meguiar's Hot Shine Tire Spray", and all i can say is WOW...and they look better than new now.

I seen alot of people mention to put Armorall, but to me that would leave a film. I noticed the hot shot seeps into the plastics and doesnt leave a residue at all. Before using the blow torch i applied some and it even made them shine, I passed some alcohol on the plastics before doing the blow torch and it didnt take the shine away, and alcohol takes off everything. Its like it cured the plastic or something. I dont know but this stuff is amazing. Im going to pick up another can/bottle when i go back to walmart.

It may come in two different ways, to heres a pic of the spray bottle and can.

yep. that's what i use, but i use Armor All. the tire foam is easiest. just spray it on and wipe it with a towel and whaaa-bling! plastics shine and look awesome, it's really cheap too. use it on Elka shocks and they'll look brand new. looks really good on parts that are starting to show some wear. i love it, i use it everytime i wash it or inbetween motos.

Problem with that is all the tire shine stuff is a silicone base. Not only is it slick and greasy but it will attract the dust.
I use an armor all type product

I use Formula 2001 also, works great, repels water, and mud comes off easy with it.

That Formula 2001 stuff works really well. It was definitely worth every penny that I paid for it. Except now it is called F21.
