Need some ideas

Hey i finaly convinced dad to tear down the 400 so i can paint the frame and some other stuff...i was having trouble picking out colors...i think a really bright white with that on color matching paint..its called like PJ1 er sumetin...but yeah painting the a-arms..swingarm...and other stuff red..anyone got any pics of this color scheme? thanks

also is it that hard to keep the white clean?..i mean i clean my quad alot and like it to look good....also i will be buying full skids in the future to protect all of this. thanks for any imput

dont paint , Powder Coat. paint will chip.

i would say if ur gunna to a complete tear down, then to just powder coat everything.

Mabey he doesn't have the money to get everything powdercoated. I painted the frame and some other stuff on my 250r, and I got all the suplies free from the shop, shure it wont be as strong as powdercoat, but it's been preped right, and will last. It won't last as long as powerdercost, but you can't argue with free, or cheap paint. And the prep work is the most important part if your gonna paint it.

O and I think that your white frame and red a arms and swingarm will look good. But I think the top a arm should be black or white. just my .02 cents

yeah i think it will look good ill just have to keep it cleans and i will prolly paint the upper A-arm white...anyone got any pics?
