Mazda b3000/ 3.0L Ford Ranger 1994

So I heard that the B3000 and the ranger are pretty much the same thing. I'm just wondering if there are ANY differences in them because I'm trying to swap a 5.0 GT motor into my B3000. Also I'm looking into buying Ranger parts for it like body kit, headlights, interior, etc. Just wondering if anyone knows about any of this.

i know the older cars had mazda engines in them, but i wouldnt count on everything fitting. but with a little grinding and welding you can make almost anything work.
