HRC cam?

i am looking for a HRC cam. new or used, as long as it is in good shape. just wondering if anyone has one they would like to get rid of for around or under $100.

lets see a brand new stage-2 hot cams -$130
new hrc cam $145

a used cam is just not worth it. good luck though.

yeah, but there are some people that have the cam for alittle while then buy another cam and have a slightly used hrc cam they don't need. there was a guy here earlier this week who sold his used and nat3060 on here bought a used one on ebay for 97 bucks. and it works perfect for her!

anyway, where did you find a new hrc cam for $145, i thought the cam from service honda alone was around $200 and the full kit about $280 or so.

Agreed. I would NEVER put a used cam in a bike either. The loabs wear wtih the rockers and bucket and when put with different rockers and buckets can wear out very fast. That is why you are always supposed to replace rockers when you install a new cam.

sorry to bring this back up, well it was my thread anyway. but does anyone know where i can get a brand new HRC cam? apparently hrc is not apart of honda now and honda doesn't carry the hrc cams anymore. hrc is a seperate company, i guess. but above it says woodwards sells the hrc cam but on their site i didn't find one. so if anyone knows where i can get one please let me know! asap! i am needing one. thanks, chris

email wood ward specialties and ask. I was just looking for one too and I emailed them and they do have them, but the guy said that they are hard to get and they don't always have them in stock, therefore they dont put them on the products page. Just give them an email, the address is on their site. They have a great price by the way, cheaper than any one else I have found.

Im not trying to take over this post, but i have a few questions. Is the HRc a dropnin cam like the hotcam? will the HRC outrun a stg 3 hotcam?

everyone is talking about the HRC for the 450r, not the 400ex.

Planet Honda sells the full HRC kit for $249.

Just sell every thing you don't need on ebay. You should make $100 on it and Planet Honda will have it to you in less than a week.

put in the hot cam stage 2 cam. and cut the air box lid . $130.

i just did a engine build up. i have about 4hours on my old hrc cam. if u want it respond, i will sell it to you for 90$ but you will pay for shipping. just putting that out there.
