Honda 400ex, my buddy is getting out of racing and Im buying his 450R off of him so this has got to go. I still haven't decided if I want to sell it like it is or put it back to stock and sell all of the aftermarket parts off of it, so I'll try it like this for now.
2001 400ex - Have registration
Engine-
11:1 wiseco piston,
hotcam stage 1,
CRF cam chain,
C&D thin head gasket,
new HONDA OEM valve seals
New Tusk clutch
CFM oversized oil tank, not installed
Klotz 10-40 is the only oil I use in this thing.
Chassis -
Elka recreational front shocks LN, only about 5 hours use on them
Stock rear w/ elka dual rate rebuild and Fresh 0hr rebuild from C&D
new chain and sprockets
fresh carrier bearings
renthal bars w/ oury grips
pro-design kill switch
CR dirtbike start button
PRM chassis skid plate
PRM swingarm skidplate
Maier flat black race plastic
(also have stock yellow plastic)
Klotz graphics and seat cover
stainless front brake lines
moose case saver
moose brake block off
AC standard front bumper or stock 450R bumper
AC pro-peg nerfs w/ removable heel guards
all bearings tight,
Chain cleaned and lubed every ride, oil changed quite frequently. Hop on and ride, no disappointments. Must go, make offer on quad like this, or if you want it bone stock, with the exception of the piston and brake lines, I can do that as well. Like I said this HAS TO GO! I will sell it fairly cheap in stock form, so if anyone is interested in any aftermarket parts feel free to shoot me some offers that way I can get an idea of what everything is worth and I will let you know when I start taking it apart.
