It shouldn't be a problem getting it on the inside. Did you trim the little tabs on the inside?

That type fits like you have it. If it was a quad tech it would be installed on the inside.

well, i tried installin it on the inside, but the tabs were there and it didnt quite line up right.. this is the carbon fiber smoothie that are sold on ebay (i was told quadtech blems???) anyway, i just wasn't sure on the install, i'll leave it guess dad seems to prefer it this way anyway... :o

I have the same hood. It isnt a quad tech 2nd. It was made be another company but I cant remember who. You have it installed correctly.

I have one of those eBay hoods, and it fits fine tucked under. Just cut the two little tabs off the inside and you're good to go.

^^^ i have the same hood as you BH and mine to went on and lined up the same way yours did.....only issue i had were the holes were almost too tight to get the plastics pegs through

well i went ahead and trimmed those tabs off (just heated up a flat head screw driver with a torch and cut them things off) and reinstalled my hood with the tabs inside, looks much better, but i had to redrill so i have 4 extra holes now, but since the hood tabs were still under where the old holes where, its not very noticable at all. i'll get pics soon
