twist or thumb throttle???

hey guys, i just got my 99 400ex. just had a question... which do u guys prefer: twist throttle or the stock thumb throttle. which feels more comfortable to ride for everyone else? i have the thumb on but the guy i bought it from threw in a twist throttle and im deciding whether or not its evn worth my while putting it on.

Nah, me and a freind thought we should get twist throttle but just got use to the thumb throttle and decided it was better. you probally allways have it pined anyways so why wear ur wrist out!jma :) Also were you located in bay area? Im near Manteca and have some freinds in brentwood.

I like the thumb myself, gives you better control.

all boils down to personal prefrence:o If you have bad thumbs like me(sprained and fractured them) youll want a twist. I got one and im never going back to a thumb throttle:macho

why not try the twist? u got nothing to lose. try the thumb for awhile then the twist for awhile and see which one u like better

I perfer a twist because I also ride streetbikes plus I have had broken thumbs.

Twist all the way ill never go thumb again. Im a dirtbiker at heart, so i have a twist on out warrior, all my quads have twist and when i finially peice this 400ex together im getting a twist.:D

thumb throttle. take out the spring in the throttle housing on the handlebars, it makes it a little easier to push and makes a difference if your riding for a while.
