Its awsome the differance but i cant tell you how much because a was 400 with cam and this year i'm 426 oversize,porting ,cam,spring,clutch, carb,exhaust,16toot sproket,new jetting, so it be a BIG differance :blah:

That thing is really sharp man...I would leave the plastic just as it is.....That yellow and black hood really looks good....I love my Quadtech hood....I like the front shots too...really shows off how wide it is.....Here is one of my favorite front shots of mine...

Look at his sig, he's running +2 +1 Arms. Still, I'm not a fan of offset rims with any front end. Just puts undue stress on the spindles and balljoints.

LOL yeah, don't mean to get into a scuffle with ya or anything. The calipers sticking out are a dead giveaway of offset rims.

Needs 4:1 offset rims, it would corner a whole lot better. Even though it's narrower setup with 4:1 you could dive into corners faster.

this is mine w/ a 2/3 offset. I would have liked a 4/1 but the ydont make a 4/1 on Dougals unless I went w/ a beadlock for the fronts so I had to settle with these for now .

And the scoop is only to have more air to the motor and to cold the oil rad .....this is not giving any hp

For your question about the scoop .......i dont think this not help but im not in the oil tank but the wind goes direcly there

i would say suspension,arms and axle should be 1st,steering stabilizer.i would recommend doing engine work last,you can all the power in the world but if your quad cant handle the track,power isnt worth it.just my 2 cents

i guess your right but i did want to do a few minor engine mods because i want to be able to run with my friend on his trx450..i can keep with him now but when we get side by side he takes me..im a better rider and he knows it but i need a little more top end power and i guess some suspension....any suggestions for the motor on the stock everything..i got the pipe and jetting already anything else to help

a few reasons, like ^ said less likly to wheelie, I am told its a little less wind resistant(lifted trick vs lowered truck) I guess. Also at the ice runs they had figure 8 timed races, made her squat down nice and wide, there was no way I could roll pretty much...plus I thought it looked pretty sweet:p -darren
