kickstarter comin out

well just recently my kickstarter just keep coming out while i was ridin it wud just sit there and vibrate out and hit my leg all the time. so i took it apart and there was never a spring or ball bearing in there. so i ordered the parts but now my question is how to put it all back together it just doesnt really make sense.

If I remember correctly the spring goes in the hole first then ball.. Someone correct if im wrong?

Correct. put some grease in the spring hole and on the ball also the shaft and don't forget the seal and pop the kicker down on.

my kicker did the same , the spring and ball were shredded so i replaced them and the slot ware the ball went in the kicker is wore so it will never sit right but o well it doesnt come out when racing
