I'm kinda getting tired of seeing Nirvana on a new music magazine every month.:( They were very influencial sure, but I wish the magazines would find something else to put on their covers, and to do stories on. This is 2005, not 1994.

funny this subject should come up. just last night my fiancé's brother stopped by to make a few cds. there were only 3 new songs that he wanted out of 5 cds, the rest were 80's songs. he just turned 21 and said even people who are a few years younger than him listen to nothing but 80's and early 90's music at parties. it is funny how you could hear a song from back then and remember that particular time. such as who your girlfriend was, where you hung out,who you hung out with, what car you had, even specific moments when a certain song was playing. i don't think kids these days will have that in the future.
i also think it is odd how everything seems to be going back wards. they are bringing out old tv shows on DVD,re-making movies and tv shows from decades ago, certain cars now a cross between new and the way they did an average of 40 years ago.
ahhhh, the days when life was simple and you didn't have to worry about your kids even going to school or playing outside with no adult in close range with the fear that some scumbag would come along and harm or kill them. what's it going to be like when our kids are our age????:ermm:

oh yea, im listening to gnr apetite for destruction, i like reminesing (sp) old times , back when the only worry you had was finding a buyer. this cd, i had a '78 impala, with gold and chrome modular rims, air shocks maxxed out, 60 series tires and pioneer pull-out. those were the days:(

You know, people may make fun of old rock, but it is totally classic and is still around b/c people still love it. Styx coming back just shows that people want to hear their music. I still love listening to them after all these years. Val
